9:00 pm - 1Year Review/ IWCO Record #3
Well It happened once more.... Third record broken and I wasn't even trying for it!
Funny how these depend on the "live" and machine set-ups. Thank God for the mechanics we have at work... which we will be losing another {Doug - 3yrs] on the 28th of thsi month.

I was running the bander High Speed onc more which usually stinks big time and runs liek crappola.. but I got lucky as Clint was the mechanic this eve and we were running around 125... which is very slwo for me on a high speed .. and he played around with a few things and got it up to 240.... WHOAAAAAAAAAa wayy to fast... so we lowered it to 210 and things were going smoothly
At lunchtime I had 118,634 so I figured I may have a shot at the "Job record on this machine
and sure as s*** by 6: 14 I had beaten thee old record...
Old Record was 211,922 and I had 213,000+ so
I figured just let it run and let's see how many I can get :)
Then poof just like that the bander messes up and I told the mechanic not to worry about it as I had the record and I was done for the night
New Job Record is 223,058!!

Also had my 1 year review which surprisingly only got half the amount of raise I thgouht I should have been getting for breaking three records in one years time and having 107% quota... What a gip!!
but the good news is I may have anohter review and raise due in three months for Machine Op 2 which means I will have spent over 300 hours each on two types of machines ina 3 moonth span with no absences and with all thee overtime we do... this should be an easy raise *wink

Til next time crossing my fingers

7:54 am - Another IWCO Record #2
YAHOO !!!! I broke a JOB record this time....
and first decided this halfway thru the night that it could be done...
quota was only 10,200 per hour and at lunchtime
i was doing 18,344/hourly
so figured I'd go for the machine record of 146,028
then we had a power outage AUGH !!!!
About 20 mins of down time but figured "what the hey!!
I can still do the JOB record at least.... current record 129,048"
I had been running the machine at a speed of #5 so upped it to a #6

About 45 mins left of the shift
I hit a flaw and had the mechanic [Doug ] fix it for me
and then he "fine tuned" the machine so it ran at the speed #10
[ which would give me about 26,000 hour ]
and by 7:04 I had the record broken once more ...
My total for the new record was 132,918
YEAH !!!!
Now for the sucky news....
they no longer are giving us our $50.00 cash bonus
for each record broken ... instead we get a stupid little raffle ticket
and at the end of a month they give out three $50.00 drawings.
So I may still have some cash in my pocket if I get lucky ...
but ifnothing else.... this will definitely help once again
for my quota for my year review/raise. I'm hoping for a 75 cent raise...

10:12 am - Jason's Wedding
WOW what a night !!!!
My brother Jason got married and actually had a greta night...
Thanks in part ot seeing an old friend who use to work at the sawmill...
He hadn't changed a bit and he also thoguht I looked the same I did 15 yrs ago
Talk about giving my ego a boost :)

I also seen lots of people from the good ol days at the sawmill
when Dad was still alive and it was great
Stayed for the whoe reception instead like my sister's wedding
in July where I only stayed about 3 hours and then home by 8 pm.

Alos got back to talking with ym sister-in-law MaryJo whom I've missed dearly
Found out she lost her father on Monday and I didn't even know it... what a shame that our lives get so self-involved in work that we don't even know what happens to those who we care about.

She had mentioned that she was going thru the pages
I did as a Memorial to my Father which was really odd as I had just revamped them and put them into iframes... etc...

8:30 am - Frist relationships....
Wow What a morning....
As a single mother of 3 teenagers - one being a daughter who is going thru hell right now
.. I want to say that I am very proud of her and her choice in 1st boyfriends....
Even tho things kinda went south after 11 months for her
and her boyfriend ... note: they were friends over the last 4 yrs
"before" even thinking about dating...
HE Is truly the kind of person whom a parent would want a daughter to date...
he is being very mature about this break-up
and is "happy" for my daughter even tho she is the one who called the relationship off.

That is what a true relationship is all about...
knowing that even if the both of you are not meant to be together
that you are still happy and wish the best for thee other

note:

Thank You Grant and Best of luck to the both of you...
including my daughter who has realized
"Love Hurts "

8:22 am - IWCO Record !!!!!
Yeowser !!!! What a night!!!!
All week long I have been taking oart of this little experiment at work...
and have been on the high speed of all things.
I hate that machine :)

Sunday and Monday Eve I was on it with Jessica
we did about 230,000 peices of mail in a 7.75 shift
Quota was 30,000 per hour so not too bad I thought.

Tuesday eve the supervisor came to me and Melissa
and asked why the first shift was doing more than our shift
[ they were doing over 320,000 ]
so I mentioned to the supervisor that the first shift had to be
missing the duplicates and blanks and to re-check their peices
with the "card-affixing" gals to see how their peices were...
and sure enough ... 4 hours into the shift the supervisor shows up with
a 5" stack of BAD peices from first shift so our supperviser Annie
was gonna ask the big boss man Mike,
if he wanted "quality or quanity for this little experiment.

The techinicians/mechanics figured if that was the case we'd show them!!!
So we - Me and Melissa - worked our butts off and got out
285,000 [ in 6 hours with an average of 47,500 per hour ]
So if we would have had 7.75 hours on the machine we would have
broke their count once more.. 7.75 hours x 47,500 = 368,000 apporximately

Came in Wednesday eve and did 321,000 with Melissa
again we Beat the old record from first shift :)

I came in on Thursday eve and right away checked out first shifts totals
only to find that first shift had done 322,000....

DARNIT !!!! That was enough of that ...
The Mechanics, along with Me and JoAnn figured piss on that !!
" We're going for the JOB and MACHINE record!!!!
Let them [ the first shift gals] break that one !!!! "

At 5:30 am we had beaten the JOB record of 364,000
and were going for the MACHINE record now of 405,014
With 5 minutes to spare til thee end of our shift
WE BROKE THE RECORD !!!
YEAH!!!! A $50 cash bonus each for myself and JoAnn [the operators]
and $50 a peice to Doug and Kym [the mechanics]
THANK YOU GUYS !!!!
TOTAL FOR THE NIGHT AND RECORD IS NOW 408,018 per shift!
210,000 at lunchbreak
+198,016 end of shift

Note: Duc and Clint [thee other mechanics in bindery ] were also
rooting for us and helping whenever possible Thank again guys !!!</1>

SIDEBETS - Brian [2nd shift team leader] stopped by to give me shit and
offered me a geen apple "Sucker" teehee
he thought I was kidding about going for the record this eve...
and "Duc" and I made a side bet for a state coin that we wouldn't
t be able to do it :) so I came out ahead in all ways this eve...

Oh Yeah.... The Mechanics Doug and Kym also a big Salted in the shell sunflower nuts
... so at lunch break I went and got them a bag of "Fisher" and "Good Sense" Sunflower Nuts
so they were in their norm... afterall that was a big part of the mechanics....
walking around all night long spitting out salted sunflower shells and we were on a mission !!!

4:34 pm - Hot "Limo" Date
WOW My sister just called and asked if I'd like to go cruising some bars ina white limo ???
What the heck is she thinking...
First I do not go to bars...
and second why would we be going in a Limo.
But I havent been able to sleep for the past two days
so I figured what the heck... Just Do It !!!
so I got ready and met her, her boyfriend Steve and his boss Ken [owner of Limo]

We atarted out at the 12 mile tavern, had supper and Steve did some karaoke while waiting for my brother Jason to arrive... by 10 pm we gave up on him and hit the road..

Next stop was in Osakis VFW... then Alexandria Eagles club..
and then this adorable little bar in Beer Creek !

It had all Wood interioir and the tables were made out of tree trunks for the base and table tops were slabwood basically with a high scheen finihs on them..

Now all nihgt long I had not been drinkin since the 1st stop cause I had a wine cooler and maybe 1.5 of it gone when they were ready to go to anohter bar... so I was ordering water all night long instead..
BUt at this bar it was only four miles form Ken's place so I had 4 Wine Coolers and we had a blast !!!

The thing that made this evening so much fun was that no-one got stinkin drunk

Thanks Janet, Steve and Ken for the memories.

3:07 pm - Work....
Well another day another dollar...
Lots going on at work lately so I guess that's good.
Had my 6 month review and it looked good for the next raise but my quota was onyl at 86% so gonna try to work on that over the next three months for at least a 91% and it should equal a .75 raise :)
Our "Biggest Loser" contest is over and we got 2nd place for most lost weight and also first place for "most original Name" for the group which was "Anchors Aweigh". The Team leader May also had t-shirts created for us 5 girls. ie: Mary [team leader] Tina [qc inspector], Bridgette [inserter], Mary [material handler] aqnd myself [bindery]
Our prize was an exercise ball teehee - so it should be interesting to see if I ever use it now.
Working on my "Yesterday's Thoughts and Tomorrows Dreams" section and trying to get these in order also for future references. mostly about my love-life and inner thgouhts.

8:19 am - New Townhome/Kids journal
Long time no see/post...

It's been a month now since we moved into this townhome and still trying to settle into it.. The Kids love it but I'm still having troubles with calling it home.

By the way... You can view thier journals also if interested in what goes on on my homefront at times... They post more than I do.
My Daughters is at: http://www.livejournal.com/users/screamingwalls/ ID screamingwalls
and my Son's is at : http://www.livejournal.com/users/poisonousmonkey ID poisonousmonkey</a>

I guess the biggest thing happening right now is about 52 hours per week at work and hating this darn DSL !!!!!
Too many pop-ups and can't really seem to even get thee urge to play on the computer anymore... Dropped most of my groups/ emails as I don't even have the time to play with them naymore...

Haven't even seen my Finace' [ persay ] since Christmas so not even sure if we are engaged anymore or not...
He's busy drinking and doing his own thing --
[ which includes NOT coming up here to see my place after a month ]
and I'm busy working Sunday eve - Saturday mornings, so Saturdays are spent sleeping about 16 hours, then cleaning house, grocery shopping, laundry, and trying to catch up on emails . IF I'm lucky I maybe get to sit and watcha rented movie with the kids.

Lots going on in my head lately and not too sure where things will lead as far as my persoanl life goes... Missing a guy from on-line that I have been talking to for about 7 years now ... oh Gary where are you ?? ... as he is the one who can read me like a book and usually knows when things are confusing in ym life and plants my feet back on the ground soundly.

Blew the head gasket on my little Grand Am and miss that BIG TIME !!!
I borrowed my daughters car {for work since she was not driving yet} that she had bought last fall and had to add a thermostat etc... to it and now guess I will just simply buy it from her for $600.00 and she will buy a different one when she gets her licencse finally in May.

Be back in aboiut two weeks with more updates and thing slooking brighter I hope.

current mood: thankful

1:05 pm - New Year - New Place
Well It's the New Year and we're packing.
Miranda and I have been packing 8 yrs worth of stuff collected in this aprtment and throwing lots out. For every 1 thing I keep I'm trying to throw out 2 ... working most of the time but sometimes it's just hard to throw out a memory.
Guess that's why some say I live in the past.

We managed to get most of the Kitchen cupboards sorted thru,
All The Disney / Family Camcorder Video's tpgether, My Walk-in Closet/Clothes gone thru, Taxes sorted and organized, the First bathroom, Photo's and Photo Books, Kids keepsakes, Toys and Waffle Blocks sorted, Xmas items galore [ and to think I threw out a bunch of them], Southwest decor and my votives washed and safely packed away. Also Miranda's Room is packed.

That doesn't look like we got alot accomplished but overall we did
Or at least must have gotten something done cause we got boxes to move:)

I haven't had to find boxes yet cause when I went thru my walk-in their were boxes in there galore -- some items we had forgotten about which should have been thrown right in the trash as we were not using them anyhow but you know me... Keep anything that has to do with my life with the kids.

Overall a very good weekend... Friday Morn til Sunday Eve
[No work this eve as it is my Holiday Pay day] School will start tomorrow and hopefully I can get the Fishtank emptied in Roger's room and a dresser or two moved and Bed disassembled as we are using his room to Pack our boxes that need to be moved inm there...
We did not do anything for New Year's Eve which was fine with me.

6:06 pm - *New Job-Horoscopes
Well it's now 6 pm and still no sleep for my New Job I start this evening
11PM-7:15 AM
Laid down about 3 pm today thinking i could at least sleep til 9 pm and then get ready for work... but that did not work... All I did was dream about Christmas shopping, getting stranded at Wal Mart and calling my brother Brian to come get me... he shows up with a little car and 4 kids to boot so nowhere to pile in the christmas items....

Here's and interesting outlook...
Ever read your horoscopes... It's funny how most of mine I can relate to...
Todays is from MSN @ http://my.msn.com/default.armx

Gemini
May 20 - June 20
Once you take the first step today, dear Gemini, the rest of the way will be a piece of cake. Before you know it, you will have completed the entire marathon with very little sweat on your brow. The one thing to watch out for, however, is that you don't run anyone over in your dash to the finish line. Be careful of the runners beside you and treat them as friends and supporters instead of opponents.
--------

Hmmm does that mean that after the first night on my New Job things will go smoothly ??? I sure hope so and I can still manage to handle all thee other things involved with ROger and that whole mess and also spend some "awake" time with my daughter after school yet ...
I figure if I sleep after work from 8 AM - 3 PM when the kids out of school I should be fine...

6:16 am - ..Court Cancelled...
Dang it's now 6:16 AM and I'm wide awake!!!
Ever get that gut feeling that something in the world is not right and you get woke up from a dead sleep?? Well that's the way I feel this morn.
Dreaming all night long about this crap going on with Roger
and wondering "Why" he is not home yet.
We were to have "Pre-Trial" set for today at 3PM
and now that's cancelled as of 4 pm yesterday.

Had my Job orientation yesterday and start my new job 11 PM-7AM on Sunday eve so I should really be working on getting my days and nights switched around which is not working for crap yet. Hopefully if I'm up this early I can get a nap in this afternoon and then be up tonight.

If I ever figure out what happend this morn somewhere...
I'll update this entry for you.

4:58 pm - Denied
Wow get this !!!! As of 10 Am this morn
I am denied a public defender on my income of about $800.00 per month
with raising 2 children... They figure the Ex can pay for an attorney...

Spent the day on the phone and cost is anywhere between $3500.00 and $7500.00
How do they expect me to pay this when they take away my child support and my Daycare.... basically my income ... I'm unemployed at this point but did manage to get some applications dropped off.

Figureing maybe that is why this is all happening. ...
As everything happens for a reason they say and God will get you thru.

Court 9 AM - Seen my Son today and thought he would be going home with my brother ... but I think we pissed off the state when we were one step ahead of them persay and had a place set-up... cause we decided it would be safer for my son to be in placement after thier bullshit accusations.. This way no one could bring anything up out of the blue.

6:10 pm - My World Ended Today
This evening my world came to a halt as I know it....
No more daycare, no more son in the home,
no more safe nights sleeping etc...

It's funny how one person's FALSE accusations can tear your world up as bad this one has. The sad thing about it not only that everything stated can be contradicted and proven wrong... I also have witnesses to abck it up.
but it will take alot of time and money for lawyers
to get my side told and the truth told and exposed.

Your Prayers would be greatly appreciated.
And altho I'm a true beleiver in the Good Lord above
and everything happens for a reason etc...
this one is very trying for me at this moment.
